Mangrove, is a very special tree and its unique traits have helped many people especially those who live near the coastal area. Mangroves have the ability to grow where no other tree can, thereby making significant contributions that benefit the coastal ecology. Not only that, in fact, their coverage of shorelines and wetlands provides many diverse species of birds, mammals and fish a unique, irreplaceable habitat.
On Saturday (Jul 28), together with Jaring (NGO), Westports Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Central Spectrum (M) Sdn Bhd, Infinity organized another mangrove planting program (4th consecutive year) with a total of 1100 trees planted at the Sungai Chandong area in Pulau Indah.
With this annual commitment, we sincerely hope this small contribution will go a long way in preserving our mother nature. Our contribution to the environment will not just stop here. We will continuously engage people from different industries, different walks of life to join us in this noble cause.
