Reaching Out As We Grow

Infinity recognizes the importance of the environment and the community as a part of our commitment. Therefore, our humanizing mission is something that our people have very much taken to heart.

A charity event was organized by the CSR committee which was carried out for four days , reaching out to different groups of people from Sri Sai Home Orphanage House (Sri Sai), House of Megaways Old Folks Homes(Megaways), Pusat Penjagaan Kanak-Kanak Cacat Selangor (PPKCS) and also Anbe Sivam Disabled Children Care Centre (Anbe Sivam). The first activity kick started with a visit to Anbe Sivam. Our team was joined by several employees’ children as we provided them an opportunity to put their time to a good cause by being part of the organizing team in planning and running the event.

The second activity involved a day out at the cinema where children from Anbe Sivam and PPKCS were treated to a movie titled Moana. Prior to the movie screening, the children were brought for lunch at McDonald’s. More than 60 children, including our own employees’ children were seen mingling among each other sharing happiness and laughter throughout the day. They definitely did put smiles on the faces of the underprivileged.

The third activity involved a slightly more adventurous activity whereby 32 children from Sri Sai Home were taken on a day trip to the Farm In The City located at Seri Kembangan. The children were given opportunities to pat and feed the animals at the venue which is more often known as a patting zoo. It was definitely a heartwarming moment to see wide smiles on the faces of the children and the laughter they shared among themselves as they were given opportunities to get close to the animals. It was priceless.

Our Year End Charity event came to an end having employees and employees’ children visiting House of Megaways, an old folk’s home situated in Seremban. In conjunction with Chinese New Year, we took the opportunity to get the old folks into festive spirit by decorating the home with CNY decorations. They were all truly entertained with the karaoke session and performances by the children. Even a small birthday celebration was held for two of the occupants as they celebrated their birthdays in the month of December and this simple gesture gave them invaluable moment of happiness At the end, when we called it a day, everyone in the team felt contented and satisfied for making the old folks feel important and loved. The four activities held most craved smiles on the faces and the hearts of the underprivileged.
